It s a program that help people buy the food they need. If you are eligible, you will be issued an issued an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card. The card can be used like a debit card at participating grocery stores, convenience stores, and farmer's markets.

Fresh produce prescription program to nutritionally-at-risk patients (including chronic conditions) and their families (tribal, rural, and underserved communities)

Fruit and Vegetable Prescription Program (FVRx)- by Community Outreach & Patient Empowerment (COPE)

• Enroll families with “prescriptions” or vouchers to purchase fruits and vegetables at participating stores

• Individuals would be screened through healthcare providers who identify eligible patients, and they receive a monthly voucher and nutrition coaching

Free Food For New Mexico Seniors

• Who it’s for: Adults age 60 and older with limited income

• What you get: A free monthly food box with healthy items like canned fruits and vegetables, cereal, milk, cheese, rice, pasta, and protein foods

Free Groceries for Low-Income Seniors and Veterans (by Bernalillo County and Optum)

This free groceries program helps keep a variety of foods available to low-income households who must make the choice between buying groceries, paying their utility bills, paying for necessary medications, or covering other life expenses.

•Electronic mobile and shopper card benefits for up to $50 for senior adult (60+ for non-Native Americans and 55+ for Native Americans)
